Hello Successful Family,
This has been an intense week for my team and myself. We launched our “Dream and Build Success” website, planned platforms, and of course had a few events. At G. Services and Design we implemented some success tools to communicate more effectively with our audience.
So many times in ministry I hear the expression, “Expectations are the Breeding Grounds for Miracles.” (From my Pastors) So my beliefs are intentionally expecting miracles, signs from God, and wonders.
To be successful, you must first expect a successful outcome in your endeavors. To put it simply, you get what you expect. Every day we have a choice to make – whether you will be happy or sad, smile or frown, laugh or cry, expect success or expect failure. And by choosing to expect a successful outcome, you will create those successful outcomes in your life! This is a simple principle made by being a human and human nature.
Every day I make the choice to be optimistic, cutting edge, and creative. I have a habit of being happy, of smiling and laughing. This is a skilled I acquired many years ago after going through a few traumatic things in my life. I thought that if I practice being happy every day. This will one day be my reality. We all know what we think, say, and stand on becomes our reality. These positive outlooks and faith keep me optimistic when things don’t seem to be going well. I go about my day knowing that everything will work out in my favor and end up the way I expect, or even better.
You haven’t lost until you give up! It’s as simple as that. One thing you will never hear me say is that I’m overwhelmed, I may smile my way through, but never I’m overwhelmed. When we tell ourselves we’re overwhelmed, that’s usually a fancy way of saying we feel like quitting at something. Take a moment and breathe, we have to redirect our energy.
Remember why you started in the first place. See the goal you set out to achieve. Remember that you were created and called to change the world, not to a life of mediocrity. Small changes daily overtime make a big impact. The idea is to go for small steps toward your goals instead of making big, sweeping changes that feel overwhelming.
